Within the scope of your thesis you can advance your startUP, try things out and combine both – studies and startUP.
What should you bring with you? Of course, your startUP idea, an idea of what you would like to advance in the context of the thesis, and an idea of how you could approach your project methodically in a thesis – and if necessary, friends / team members, if you want to implement the idea in a joint thesis project.
