A high level of intellectual property (IP) does not always help companies to create ingenious products, but it makes them sustainable and more successful in the long term than competitors without IP. That is why IP is an important component of corporate capital. Intellectual property essentially concerns creative and innovative achievements, such as inventions, literary and artistic works, designs, symbols, names and images.
