You have an idea for a new product, an innovative service, the solution to a problem or an ingenious (technical) invention? You want to develop it further into an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) or prototype?
Then our new Makerspaces and creative spaces in Furtwangen, Tuttlingen and VS-Schwenningen are just right for you! As part of the BMBF-funded project startUPspace@HFU, we actively support you on your way to realizing this idea.
Since the winter semester 2021/22, all members of Furtwangen University (students, professors, employees) can develop, test and implement ideas and initial prototypes in the Makerspaces.
The technical orientation of the new spaces is based on the individual faculties at the respective university locations. For example, at the Tuttlingen location (in the IFC, Katharinenstr. 2) there is
a Makerspace with the orientation “physical prototyping” (with the sub-areas mechanics, electronics and additive manufacturing)
a Makerspace with the focus on “User Experience
a new creative space.
In the M-Bau in Furtwangen (Hafnergässle 3), there is the “Virtual Prototyping” lab with the Game Design Area, VR and Additive Manufacturing areas, as well as a new creative space.
In the new start-up and creative center “Die Halle” in VS-Schwenningen (Lichtensteinstr. 6), a new creative space is also provided by HFU.
The use of the Makerspaces and creative rooms is free of charge for HFU members. Simply register in good time by e-mail to: startup-campus@hs-furtwangen.de
